Pick what paints your pictures
Choose the model that paints your portrait, your story's pictures and your Gallery: twenty of them, 1 to 4 credits each. Pictures on the world's own model now cost 1 credit.
Every picture you ask for used to come from whichever model the world uses. Now you choose. A small Picture model list sits beside the three places you pay for pictures:
- Your portrait, above Regenerate on your character sheet.
- Your story's pictures, next to the Pictures switch at the top of the story. The one you pick paints every picture the storyteller makes for you from then on.
- The Gallery, in the panel where you paint a moment.
There are twenty models to choose from, the newest of each family: FLUX 3, GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana 2.1, Seedream 5.0, Krea 2, Qwen Image 3, Recraft V4.1, Grok Imagine and more. Each shows its price: 1, 2, 3 or 4 credits, never a fraction. The price follows what the model costs us to run, so the cheap ones are cheap.
Each place remembers what you picked, on that device. Your pick paints in the world's own art direction, so a world that looks like ink still looks like ink.
Cheaper pictures
A picture painted with World default now costs 1 credit instead of 2. That's the model the world already uses, so a repaint of your portrait now costs half what it did.
Where you'll see it
The list shows in worlds that run on Worldtable's credits. In a world whose builder pays for the AI with their own key, their choice of model stands and there's no list.
