A storyteller that remembers

Your story's whole history now travels with you: first meetings, old deals, names and whole scenes come back exactly as they happened, whenever your line reaches for them.

Your story's whole history now travels with you. Every turn you play, the storyteller is handed the moments from your past that bear on what you just wrote: a first meeting from months ago, a price you haggled on day two, the promise you made at the docks. It answers with what really happened.

The past, exactly as it happened

  • "Do you remember how we met?" The meeting comes back as it was: the place, who was there, what was said.
  • Details that hold. What the healer charged you, the name of the man who sold you the map, the terms of the deal: the storyteller has the moment itself in front of it before it answers.
  • It knows what you mean. "The thing the old woman gave me" or "same deal as before?" find what you're pointing at.
  • People are found under every name. Ask Rotraud about the night at the ford and the story still finds it, even though back then she was only "the masked woman" and never gave a name.
  • Only what matters. Ordering a drink or swinging a sword stays light. The past is brought in when your line reaches for it, never as clutter.

Every scene, remembered

  • Each scene is summarised when it ends: who was there, what happened, what changed, what was left open. Ask about a whole scene ("what happened down in that temple?") and the whole scene comes back.
  • Long campaigns included. Characters who have played for months get their earlier scenes summarised over their next few turns.
  • Every turn you play is kept for good. Your story never thins out with age.

Sharper recall when the storyteller digs

When the storyteller wants to check something itself, it now searches your own story by what matches best: scenes, turns, and what the people you've met remember about you, all dated. Someone you knew under another name is found under both.

Worlds that run on their own AI provider get this search too. The automatic remembering above runs on Worldtable's own AI models.

Built on real campaigns

We tested this on six real campaigns, hundreds of turns each, and stopped at hundreds of points along the way to ask about something long past: first meetings, old prices, half-remembered names, whole scenes. The right moment comes back, and lines that need no past stay clean.

Next up: the past you don't mention, like walking up to someone you wronged long ago without saying a word about it.
